(CHRISTIANSBURG, Virginia) – The New River Valley Regional Public Health Task Force will will hold drive-thru COVID-19 testing on Thursday, May 28 at the Floyd County Recreation Center Ball Field (Park Drive, off Route 8 near the Floyd town limit). The site will operate from noon to 2 p.m.
These sites are closed to the public. Please do not go there. ONLY those individuals with a letter of authorization from the Virginia Department of Health’s New River Health District will be admitted to the site, and only by pre-screening and appointment.

03/20/2020 Recycling & Cardboard Services--At this time, the Town of Floyd will not be collecting business recycling and cardboard or curbside recycling from residents. This will allow the highest protection for our Public Works staff so they will not be handling and sorting recycling materials. We ask that you continue to break down your cardboard and stack as much as you can into another container to help conserve your space. We will continue to collect all garbage on Tuesday and Fridays weekly.
